Presenting: ‘Havana by Number’ A Virtual Experience. These photographs were taken on my last visit to the island nation of Cuba. The images in this series represent the people of Havana behind these numbers. The lives, the personalities, the culture and the overall feel of the city. Facades with vivid color, gorgeous simplicity and crumbling beauty. The Cubans who are constantly walking the fine line between strict rules and being completely free, and who do so with such grace and resilience while maintaining a strong sense of self and community. Their innovation, ingenuity and creativity were truly inspiring. There really is no other place like it on earth, and they will always have a special place in my heart.
